JAZZ Jazz is a blending of many
other dance forms, employing turns and leaps of
ballet with exotic movements of primitive, modern,
folk, tap and interpretive. Todays television programs
feature Jazz. Jazz lends itself well to
improvisation for the dancer with imagination and
creative ability. Because the styling of jazz is
difficult for the very young, we prefer limiting
the teaching of it for students from 10 years to
adults. |
